The Importance Of Taking Action
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Change requires action.
Whether you’re trying make changes in your career, change the climate of your home, change the direction of your life, or deepen the level of intimacy in your relationship with God… these all require action.
procrastination is the enemy to action. I tend to procrastinate by using imperfection as an excuse for inaction. “It has to be right” really sometimes mean, “I am not committed to taking action right now”. My wife has a saying that I love – “Imperfect action is better than inaction”. I don’t like it so much when she directing the saying towards me.
Whatever excuse you use to avoid action.. call it for what it really is.. an excuse. God has given us everything we need to begin to take the action necessary for whatever change we desire. Pray and sense God’s direction and then move.
Change is never easy. Most of the things that require change require commitment to change because the change will not drop in your lap or show up at your doorstep. You’ll have to do your part, make some decisions, and get out of your comfort zone.
You’ll get it wrong. Do not expect that you’ll do it all correctly the first try. Naw, you are not that good and neither are we. Give yourself room to make mistakes and have a heart to learn from those mistakes. As long as you learn you never lose.
Less talk and more action. Talking, planning, praying are all good but you cannot stay in these positions. Real faith require real action. God will meet you at the place where you commit yourself to action. So take action – today![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
