Open positions

Equipped For Destiny Church is a church plant (2 years young) within the Knightdale community. These positions are key to both the operations and leadership strategy for this ministry. We’re seeking motivated professionals, who are flexible, personable, and organized. These positions will serve as key members of our leadership team.

Worship Leader

Responsibilities:

– Lead and coordinate worship services, including selecting and arranging music, leading the congregation in singing, and directing the worship.
– Plan and organize rehearsals for the worship team, ensuring that all members are prepared and equipped to lead worship effectively.
– Collaborate with the pastor and other church leaders to plan and implement meaningful worship experiences that align with the overall vision and mission of the church.
– Serve as a spiritual leader, guiding and shepherding the congregation through worship, prayer, and teaching.
– Foster an atmosphere of worship that encourages congregational participation and engagement.
– Provide leadership in the development of new worship experiences or initiatives, incorporating diverse styles and expressions of worship.
– Mentor and develop other musicians and vocalists within the church, equipping them to use their gifts in service to God.

Requirements:
– Strong musical ability, including proficiency in playing an instrument (e.g., guitar, piano) and leading congregational singing. We will also accept someone who can sing to tracks.
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal, with the ability to effectively engage and connect with people of all ages.
– Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team of musicians and vocalists in a collaborative manner.
– Knowledge of various styles of worship music, including contemporary Christian music, hymns, and gospel.
– Understanding of sound engineering principles and experience operating audio equipment during worship services.
– A deep personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to living a life of worship.

As a Worship Leader at our church, you will have the opportunity to use your musical gifts to lead our congregation in heartfelt worship. You will play a vital role in creating an atmosphere where people can encounter God’s presence through music. Operations
Director

Responsibilities:

Attend leadership meetings, staff meetings mostly remotely but in-person as necessary

Motivate and inspire leaders and attendees to volunteer through serving opportunities

Learn and utilize church systems and software to support attenders, volunteers, and member needs.
Manage the vendor accounts within the responsibility of this position and ensure resources are available and maintained.

Have an eye for details and the capacity to see the big picture.
Understand how to communicate with an array of personnel effectively.
Effective at multi-tasking, time management, and following up.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Competent with technology computer skills and cloud systems
Exceptional problem-solving skills.
Maintain composure during stressful situations.
High School Diploma or GED or above
Up to 12 months of related work experience.
This position requires a candidate who is committed to the vision and to building this organization.

Ministry Leader - A/v

Responsibilities

Install and maintain audio and video equipment including display devices, projectors, camera systems, microphones and speakers.

Provide excellent equipment services reflective of the church standards and expectations.
Perform inventory management of equipment
Setup and operate audio video equipment for trainings, presentations, meetings and conferences.
Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions and live streaming issues
Provide technical assistance to ministry leaders when required.

Act as the primary technical trainer for ministry staff and leaders

Generate inventory reports including equipment values for asset management.
Candidate should be local to the Raleigh NC

Candidate will have previously experienced a personal saving relationship according to the Doctrinal Beliefs of Equipped For Destiny Church [Our Beliefs]
