Jesus is a king, but one who is not of this world. When we follow the king who is not of this world our needs in this world and the next will be provided for.

No one can have two masters, we cannot serve both God and Money. The love of money is the root of all evil, yet money itself is not evil. Money is similar to that line about humility:

 “it’s not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less.” It’s not about having less money (necessarily), it’s about thinking less about money, and more about Jesus. As we do that he will take care of our needs.

The time tested adage is true: Actions speak louder than words.
Regardless to how loudly we sing, preach, or profess our love for God, our actions speaks much more loudly and clearly.

Every day we face the decision: Live our lives in a way that honors God or live our lives in a way that honors our own appitites and desires. Belief is not what we say, belief is what we do.

When we live our lives for the honor and love for God we experience His abundance and His peace. We avoid the needless pain and despair that results from a life of selfish ambitions and harmful desires.

Be sure that our declarations and our everyday actions communicate the same message. Because what we do can speak so loudly that people can't hear what we say.

Attitude makes all the difference!
Your attitude is the mental and spiritual filter through which you view the world around you. Your attitude will affect the quality of every decision we make as well as determine the quality of life we experience. The state of your career, your relationships, your bodily health, and the state of your finances are all reflection of your attitude.

Herein lies the importance of maintaining a positive attitude. Maintaining a positive attitude doesn't mean wearing rose-colored glasses and ignoring the reality around you, it means to make a decision about how you're going to view the reality around you. You can't always control what happens to you but you can control how you decide to view what happens to you.

A positive attitude can be the source of strength that get's through hard times, difficult seasons, and life's setbacks. A positive attitude proclaims "GOD's GOT ME" rather than to cry out  "GOD WHY ME". It is the source of encouragement for others as you bear your cross for Christ publically with faith and conviction

Every new day is a gift from God. Regardless to what the brings, God is still good and God is still in control. If God allows rain in our lives it's only because He's growing something within us!
