Be More Aware Than Annoyed

In Matthew 15:21-28 the disciples are annoyed by a woman who is begging. They show no compassion or sensitivity for her needs
✨
We have to be OPEN to people who are different than we are & willing to be inconvenienced
✨
Sometimes we can be so concerned about what we have to do & what we need that we miss the REAL NEEDS of people right around us.
✨
This morning this story of the Syrophenician woman convicts me to make sure I’m more AWARE than I am ANNOYED by the needs of others while I’m going about my day.
✨
Isn’t it interesting that they’re walking with Jesus and aren’t convicted by an apparent need? How often do we do the same ? So busy with spiritual matters or our own agenda that we dismiss needs all around us.
✨
For someone you may be the only Bible they read through your actions. Be slow to dismiss the needs of others all because you’re too busy
✨
